The method involves supporting a measuring device (1) at the head of the animal, and recording three-dimensional acceleration of the head by using acceleration sensors (2) for determination of the external dangers for body and limb of the animal. An electronic message is sent to message-receiving units (10) in case of the danger condition. The three-dimensional acceleration of the head is transmitted in electronic form to an evaluation-radio unit (5) by using a measuring data-radio unit (3).
