Pressing device comprises a stamp (4) for closing a die opening (5) during pressing and consisting of a metallic insert (13) extending in the longitudinal direction and surrounded by an elastic sleeve (14). An end section (7) of the insert on the front side protrudes into a molding chamber (2) when the die opening is closed. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) Pressing method using the above device; and (2) Pressed body produced using the above device.
