The direct gas injection for decontamination of contaminated soils and/or ground water aquifers, comprises injecting the gas into the soils and/or ground water aquifers by injection elements in terms of aeration time and/or intensity model and feed back control. The model is considered partially in geochemical and/or hydraulic-geological conditions of the contaminated soils and/or groundwater aquifers, and the feedback control evaluates pre-determinable input parameters. The feedback control comprises iterative adjustment of the model and/or controlling of the gas entry. The direct gas injection for decontamination of contaminated soils and/or ground water aquifers, comprises injecting the gas into the soils and/or ground water aquifers by injection elements in terms of aeration time and/or intensity model and feed back control. The model is considered partially in geochemical and/or hydraulic-geological conditions of the contaminated soils and/or groundwater aquifers, and the feedback control evaluates pre-determinable input parameters. The feedback control comprises iterative adjustment of the model and/or controlling of the gas entry. The model comprises numeric flow- and transport model adapted at location circumstances of the soils and/or ground water aquifers. The geochemical and/or hydraulic-geological conditions comprise pollutant concentrations existing in the soil and in the ground water aquifers, characterization of location-specific redox systems, permeability of geological layer bodies and/or velocity flow. The model comprises a computation of control made from an injection element. A modeling of dissolution of injected gases and/or the propagation of injected gases take place in the water phase. The input parameters are concentration and/or quantity of injection gases and/or tracer gases and/or other location-specific parameters and are measured through a measuring unit. The concentration and/or quantity are onlinely measured. The injected gases are oxygen, air, methane or mixtures of these gases. A part of the injected gases or gas mixtures contain an inert tracer gas and nitrogen or phosphorus compounds. The gas injection is optimized, which achieves complete mineralizing of the dissolved pollutant available at the location using minimum oxygen entry. The control of the injection elements takes place via a measuring- and a control unit (3), which are installed at the location. Independent claims are included for: (1) an arrangement for direct gas injection for the decontamination of contaminated soils and/or ground water aquifers; and (2) a computer program and a computer-readable storage medium for eliminating pollutant from contaminated soils and/or ground water aquifers.
