The disposable bioreactor (1) for the cultivation of cells in a nutrient medium, comprises a reagent container (2), which is lockable with a lid (3), exhibit baffles adjacent to the container inner wall (7) and is subjected to a vibrating device. The baffles are formed as a helically shaped channel (10) running upwards in vertical direction. The channel is shaped as a convex projection to the container inner wall and is rounded off at the intersection to the container inner wall. The channel has a gradient angle of 30-60[deg] with respect to a horizontal plane. The disposable bioreactor (1) for the cultivation of cells in a nutrient medium, comprises a reagent container (2), which is lockable with a lid (3), exhibit baffles adjacent to the container inner wall (7) and is subjected to a vibrating device. The baffles are formed as a helically shaped channel (10) running upwards in vertical direction. The channel is shaped as a convex projection to the container inner wall and is rounded off at the intersection to the container inner wall. The channel exhibits a cross section with a convex curvature turned away from the container inner wall, round or oval cross section, a flat-convex cross section, and elliptical-, parabolic- or circular cross section. The channel is applicable as a separate part in the reagent container. The ratio of the channel depth lying radially to the container inner wall to the channel width lying transverse to the longitudinal axis of the channel, is 1:1. The lid is provided with an opening, which is covered by a membrane that allows exchange of sterile air.
