The sensor has a signal line (1), which is activated by mechanical deformation, and a sensor body (2) to receive the signal line. The signal line runs in a longitudinal direction into the sensor body. The sensor body completely or sectionally encloses the signal line, and exhibits a set of projections (4) on its outer side, which is turned away from the signal line. The projections run perpendicularly or diagonally opposite to the longitudinal direction and/or are arranged at a distance to each other in the longitudinal direction of the sensor body.
