The device has a sensor unit (1) integrated in a valve e.g. pressure valve, where the sensor unit is spatially separated from an evaluation unit (2). The sensor unit and the evaluation unit are connected with each other by an electrical plug and socket connection (3) e.g. coaxial connector. A separate control device (4) has a memory (16), where a parameter of the sensor unit is stored in the memory. The evaluation unit is connected with the control device by an interface (10), where the evaluation unit is parameterizable. An independent claim is also included for a method for parameterizing a pressure measuring device.
