The decontamination of object (2) surface (4) by pulsed high pressure cold plasma, which is ignited in electrically inhibited discharges, comprises supplying radical produced in the plasma to the decontamination surface. The plasma is ignited between an electrode (1) and a grounded metallic network coated with a dielectric film (3) and is produced by ambient air. A high-pressure cold discharge in the form of a pulsed corona discharge is ignited between the electrode and the contamination surface of the object. A gas stream discharges a radial produced in the discharge. The decontamination of object (2) surface (4) by pulsed high pressure cold plasma, which is ignited in electrically inhibited discharges, comprises supplying radical produced in the plasma to the decontamination surface. The plasma is ignited between an electrode (1) and a grounded metallic network coated with a dielectric film (3) and is produced by ambient air. A high-pressure cold discharge in the form of a pulsed corona discharge is ignited between the electrode and the contamination surface of the object. A gas stream supplied on the contamination surface of the object, discharges a radial produced in the discharge. The gas stream is obtained from a discharge zone, which is arranged between the electrode and the network.
