A moveable cross member (34) is adapted to be supported relative to the floor in a spaced relation to the frame. A lower seat suspension member (46) with a front edge (51) and a rear edge portion (49) connected to the cross member and frame, respectively is arranged such that when the frame is moved between the two positions, the cross and suspension members are also moved between the two positions.
