Producing synthetic plaster materials for cement production, comprises: processing the plaster material to pasty consistency; adding a hydraulically-active additive to the plaster to initiate a hydraulic exothermic reaction and to evaporate the water in the plaster; prolonging the reaction until the surface water of the mixture is reduced to a set level or value, at which the mixture is moldable; and molding the plaster, if the water content is reduced to such an extent that a stable, preferably a dimensionally-stable compaction or molding of the plaster material is facilitated. Independent claims are included for: (1) a method for producing solid or dimensionally-stable objects from wet, paste-like plaster material, comprising: adding an agent to the plaster material to bring an exothermic reaction; drying the plaster to form a consistency that facilitates a moldable or permanently dimensionally-stable design using the reaction heat and without using other facilities or resources to dry the plaster material; and molding the plaster material to form a solid and dimensionally-stable or permanent shape; and (2) a device for producing synthetic plaster material, preferably for its improved handling and storage comprising: a blender for taking up and retention of a mixture of synthetic plaster material and at least a hydraulically-active additive; an apparatus, preferably a roll press for compacting or molding the mixture, which is made by means of the blender; a sieve, preferably a vibratory sieve to take up the compacted or molded synthetic plaster material, preferably dimensionally-stable plaster molds that produce from the roll press.
