A borehole connecting device comprises a fixing element (20) clamped between a connecting piece (13) and a seal (5) and a sealing insert having an inner sleeve (8) and a surrounding rubber sleeve (7). The connecting piece together with a blocking bell (23) form a housing for storing and guiding a blocking plate (6). The sealing insert slides into the borehole using the fixing element. The inner sleeve and the rubber sleeve are structured so that the inner sleeve slides further into the borehole when the rubber sleeve is already in its final position in the hole and lies on the inner surface of the hole. The inner sleeve is provided with a snap closure. The casing surface of the inner sleeve is inserted into a region close to the borehole and has a slanted edge.
