The press has longitudinally running base frames (1) and number of plates that are arranged in horizontal and lateral manner, where the plates represent machine base frames. A number of hydraulic cylinders are arranged between the frames and transmit force contribution to a lever during driving-in and out of the cylinders. Slotted pieces are guided on cylindrical guide bolts that are supported in the base frame. A guide rail, which is adjustable in a lateral manner, axially supports a stamp.
