The retainer (10) has a hub (11) to which machine tools (16-18) e.g. disk cutter, are fastened. The hub projects via a central opening of the tools. The hub has a fluid channel extending partially in a longitudinal direction of the hub, where a liquid supply (14) fluidically stands in connection with a fluid channel (13) and guides the liquid to the surface of the hub. The supply is designed as a radial borehole or a longitudinal slot partially extending over the length of the hub. Two opposite clamping flanges (19, 20) are provided for clamping the tools.
