The device has a processing unit (MT1), on receiving a HTTP-(secured) (HTTP(S)) GET or POST message-request from an application (A) embarked in a mobile telephone (T), to convert the message-request into a simple object access protocol (SOAP) message-request to be transmitted to a web service module (WS). The unit, on receiving a SOAP response message with the results of the module`s operations, constitute a HTTP(S) response message from a received SOAP response message so that it is transmitted to the telephone having transmitted the HTTP(S) message-request. The mobile telephone is connected to the Internet network (RI) and has data representing the operations to be carried out by the web service module (WS). Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a server for an Internet communication network comprising a message conversion device (2) a communication terminal.
