The display has a pixel circuit (116) including pixels (122) emitting light by a current. A data driver (120) supplies a data signal corresponding to the current to the pixels. A scan driver (118) drives two sets of scan lines (GPL1 - GPLn, GEL1 - GELn). A timing controller (128) supplies digital data from a deterioration sensor (140) to the data driver, divides one frame into a set of sub-fields and adjusts the data signal corresponding to each of the sub-fields depending on the brightness of the pixel circuit. An independent claim is also included for a method of driving a light emitting display.
