LEATHERY, SHEET-LIKE PRODUCT AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a leathery, sheet-like product having fine images drawn by inkjet method or the like on the surface and practically sufficient physical properties.;SOLUTION: The leathery, sheet-like product has a porous layer on a fibrous base body and the surface of the porous layer has openings having ≥1μm diameter and images having ≥5 dot/mm resolution. Furthermore, it is preferable that the image is formed by pigment-based ink, the fibrous base body contains super fine fiber and the average diameter of the opening is 1-100μm. The method for producing the same is to open the porous layer on the fibrous base body and form the image on its surface by inkjet method. Furthermore, it is preferable that the porous layer is prepared by wet coagulation of a high molecular elastomer solution. Preferably, the method for opening the porous layer is to apply a solvent on the surface of the porous layer or to mechanically grind the surface of the porous layer.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
