PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle acceleration measuring method, a vehicle acceleration measuring instrument and a vehicle acceleration measuring program, capable of separating a linear motion and a rotational motion of a vehicle, by simple constitution.;SOLUTION: This vehicle acceleration measuring method includes steps of: inputting the first acceleration data with the measured first acceleration along a vertical direction in the gravity center position of the vehicle; inputting the second acceleration data with the measured second acceleration along a vertical direction in a prescribed position different from the gravity center position of the vehicle; and separating a linear motion component and a rotational motion component, from the second acceleration, based on the first acceleration data and the second acceleration data.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
