PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vocabulary candidate output system, a vocabulary candidate output method and a vocabulary candidate output program, capable of obtaining a unified declaration, even when katakana syllabaries are fluctuated because of ambiguity on pronunciation as in a word of foreign origin. PSOLUTION: A control part 21 of an information processing terminal 20 acquires a retrieval objective word, and a matching processing means 221 collates the acquired retrieval objective word with a vocabulary recorded in a dictionary database 23. The control part 21 converts the retrieval objective word into Roman characters, when a vocabulary consistent therewith is not recorded, and extracts consonant/vowel sequences. A sequence collation means 224 compares a consonant sequence recorded in the dictionary database 23, with the consonant sequence generated from a constitutive character sequence to calculate the consistency therebetween. The control part 21 executes further calculation processing for the consistency of the vowel sequence, when total character number is smaller than a reference character number.
