PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of calculating the contact bearing pressure in conformal contact and the subsurface stress without using a finite element method.;SOLUTION: A reference curved surface S is set to ends of two contact objects M1 and M2, and is divided into a mesh where cells C are arranged vertically and horizontally. Calculation points A for discretely calculating the distance between the contact objects M1 and M2 are defined on the cells C. Influence quantity to the displacement of the point corresponding to each calculation point A of the surface of the contact objects M1 and M2 when a distribution load acts on each cell C is calculated. The bearing pressure of each cell C is calculated, based on a balance condition expression where the total of the bearing pressures of the cells C balances with an external force, and the total of the products of the bearing pressure and influence quantity for the cells C balances with the difference between the approach amount between the contact objects and initial clearance inside a contact region. The influence quantity is calculated by integrating the Boussinesq's solution as a displacement analysis solution in acting unit concentration load when the external force is in the normal direction, or by integrating the Cerutti's solution similarly to the above case when the external force is in the tangential direction.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
