ANTIFUNGAL AGENT, CLEANING AGENT FOR FUNGUS, RESIN HAVING ANTIFUNGAL EFFECT AND METHOD FOR SUPPRESSING GENERATION OF FUNGUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antifungal agent effective against Aspergillus niger generated in a bathroom, a lavatory, etc., safe to living bodies, free from the trouble of damaging the cloth of wears and producible at a low cost, a cleaning agent for fungus, a resin having antifungal effect and a method for suppressing the generation of fungus.;SOLUTION: A water-soluble chitin or chitohexaose is used as an active component for antifungal action. The propagation of fungus can be prevented or suppressed by compounding the water-soluble chitin or chitohexaose to an antifungal agent, a cleaning agent for fungus, a resin, etc., and applying to a part to generate the fungus. The antifungal agent, the cleaning agent for fungus, the resin, etc., can be used preferably against fungus belonging to genera Cladosporium, Alternaria or Aureobasidium.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
