PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To select and present an explanatory sentence fit for the taste of a user from explanatory sentences of objects classified by genres.;SOLUTION: Word extraction is performed to the explanatory sentence explaining about the genre-classified object. A "category" showing an attribute or an item explaining about the object inside the explanatory sentence, and a "characteristic" showing information about nature, a property or the like of the object in the category are created from the extracted word. A "related characteristic" showing nature or a property exceeding the category or the genre, and an " abstracted characteristic" showing an index or a reference capable of showing positioning of the object inside the genre are created from the characteristic. The taste of the user and contents of the explanatory sentence are analyzed by use of the created "category", "characteristic", "related characteristic", and "abstracted characteristic".;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
