PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a verifying method for verifying validity as to whether to follow data constraints about a database for a railroad signal system capable of handling many control elements as data and defining various data formats with ease.;SOLUTION: The verifying method comprises: a first verification step for verifying an unverified database for a railroad signal system by an XML parser; a second verification step for verifying constraints that can not be described with a schema language by an additional verification program; a data editing step for editing data of the database; an editing data verification step for performing the same verification as in the first verification step and the second verification step of the edited database data; and a step for registering data verified to be valid by the editing data verification step in the database for the railroad signal system and re-editing data not verified to be valid.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
