PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a joint user of a car to easily know the parking position of the car parked in a parking lot.;SOLUTION: This parking lot information providing system comprises a bar code 10 having information on the name of the parking lot, a parking position and a joint use registration request URL and displayed in the parking lot; a user communication terminal 20 capable of photographing and decoding the bar code 10; a joint user communication terminal 30; and a parking lot information management device 40 connected to these terminals through a network. The parking lot information management device 40 transmits input fields for parking position information and identification information to the communication terminal 20 by access to the URL from the communication terminal 20, registers identification information and parking position information as a pair upon receiving identification information from the communication terminal 20, transmits an input field for identification information to the communication terminal 30 at a retrieval request from the communication terminal 30, and transmits the parking position information paired with the identification information to the communication terminal 30 upon receiving identification information from the communication terminal 30.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
