PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing an oxide superconducting wire material capable of obtaining uniform and high critical current over the entire length, a device for rolling the oxide superconducting wire material and the oxide superconducting wire material. PSOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the oxide superconducting wire material is provided with a wire drawing process for drawing a wire material with precursor powder of a Bi2223 superconductor in a state coated with metal, a primary rolling process rolling the wire material drawn at the wire drawing process, a primary sintering process heating the rolled wire material at the primary rolling process, and a second rolling process further rolling the wire material to be heat-treated at the primary sintering process. Then, in the secondary rolling process, the wire material is rolled so as a rolling pressure defined in a following formula (1) to be not less than 3 GPa, and not more than 4 GPa.
