PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple working platform for separating foreign materials in leaf tobacco, separating the foreign materials such as sand, etc., from the leaf tobacco in the picking work of dried tobacco leaves or leaf-packing work of green tobacco leaves, and a method for separating/recovering the foreign materials in the leaf tobacco.;SOLUTION: This working platform for separating the foreign materials in the leaf tobacco is equipped with leg parts 22, also a working platform main body 21 loading or hanging the leaf tobacco and a vibration-generating mechanism 23 for vibrating the working platform main body 21. The vibration-generating mechanism 23 is fixed directly to the working platform main body 21. By loading or hanging the dried tobacco leaves A for each of leaf tobacco-hanging tools 1 at the working platform main body 21 and also vibrating the working platform main body 21 by the vibration-generating mechanism 23, the foreign materials attached and mingled with the dried tobacco leaves A are separated from the dried leaves A, and the separated foreign materials fall freely down from the working platform main body 21 and are recovered.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
