PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a building with a seismic-control reinforcing structure which can enhance the seismic-control performance of an existing building without rehabilitation of the existing building, which is more excellent in constructibility than in the case of a conventional method for reinforcing a pile, and which can shorten a construction period.;SOLUTION: Columns 5 and 7 higher than the existing building are erected on the outside of the existing building 1; seismic-control equipment 6 is installed in the upper section of the existing building; subsequently, the columns are connected together by means of a beam 10 above the existing building; and the beam and the seismic-control equipment 6 below the beam are connected together.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
