PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method where the infiltration of water into the accumulated mountain of sintered ores in a raw material yard is suppressed, and also, the effect is maintained over a long period.;SOLUTION: Return fines with the average particle diameter of ≤5 mm are stacked on the upper surface of an accumulated mountain, so as to form a return fine layer, and, on the upper surface of the return fine layer, a mixture of return fines in 10 to 90 vol.%, and at least one inorganic matter particle selected from calcium oxide, calcium carbonate, calcium hydroxide, silicon oxide, aluminum oxide, magnesium oxide, iron oxide, iron and graphite of 5 to 100 μm average particle diameter, in 90 to 10 vol.% is stacked, so as to form a mixture layer.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
