PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce electricity flowing through a stray capacitance between conductive paths crossing in RF coils having figure-of-eight used for MRI apparatus. PSOLUTION: This RF coil is composed of an impedance adjustable coil connecting between figure-of-eight coil with which the conductive path intersects and the intersecting conductive path crossing. The spaces of the intersecting conductive paths are connected parallel by the stray capacitance between the intersecting conductive paths and this impedance adjustable coil, and the impedance between the intersecting conductive paths is increased at Larmor frequency proportional to the intensity of static magnetic field of MRI apparatus, and the electric current flowing between the intersecting conductive paths is decreased. Additionally, this RF coil is composed of the figure-of-eight coil where conductive paths intersect, an impedance adjustable capacitor connecting parallel between the intersecting conductive paths, and the impedance adjustable coil.
