FUEL CAP AND CANISTER FOR ADSORBING VAPORIZED FUEL USED THEREFOR

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely adsorb vaporized fuel evaporated from the fuel in a fuel tank and release the gas in which the vaporized fuel is not contained into the atmosphere. PSOLUTION: This fuel cap 1 comprises an outer cap 2, an inner cap 10, and a canister 20 for adsorbing vaporized fuel installed in a space S2 formed between the inner and outer caps. A communication hole 13 allowing the space S2 to communicate with the outside is formed in the inner cap 10. The canister 20 for adsorbing the vaporized fuel is formed of a housing 21 and an adsorbent 35 contained therein. In the housing 21, an inlet port 24 is formed in one end surface facing the inner cap 10 side and an outlet port 33 is formed in the other end surface 31 facing the outer cap 2 side. A gap securing member for securing a gap between the inner surface of the outer cap 2 and the other end surface 31 of the housing 21 is installed near the outlet port 33.
