PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a content distribution arbitration device which makes it possible to adaptively utilize a limited number of distribution channels distributed in households among a plurality of AV apparatuses.;SOLUTION: The broadcast distribution arbitration device 10 stores distribution restriction information indicating a restriction condition relating to the number of channels capable of simultaneously receiving contents from a distribution server within a LAN or a communication band in a distribution restriction information recording part 12, and also stores distribution connection information including the distribution channel used by each AV apparatus while receiving the contents from the distribution server within the LAN 2 in a distribution connection information holding part 13. When receiving a distribution request requesting content distribution by a desired distribution channel, which is sent out by the AV apparatus 20 through a communication I/F 18 for the LAN, a control part 14 determines whether or not to accept the distribution request on the basis of request contents relating to the received distribution request, the restriction condition information and the connection information.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
