CONTACT-FORCE MEASURING DEVICE FOR VOLTAGE-DROP TYPE PANTOGRAPH

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a contact-force measuring device for a voltage-drop type pantograph that measures the voltage from a pantograph so as to measure the pantograph contact force from the changes in the voltage. PSOLUTION: The contact-force measuring device for a voltage-drop type pantograph is provided with a voltage divider 5A, connected to wiring 4 extending from a pantograph 3; a voltage-drop detection part 5 connected to the low-voltage side of the voltage divider 5A; a high-pass filter (HPF) or a frequency analyzer 6 connected to the voltage-drop detecting part 5; and a measuring instrument 7 connected to the high-pass filter (HPF) or to the frequency analyzer 6. By having the high-pass filter (HPF) or the frequency analyzer 6 remove the voltage changes in the steady state of a vehicle, since only the voltage fluctuations required for current collection system evaluation are extracted, it is possible to measure the pantograph contact force.
