PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an encryption device with higher anti-tampering performance capable of performing encryption communication for a number of data.;SOLUTION: A first encryption circuit 12 and a second encryption circuit 13 are arranged in an encryption circuit 11 prepared at a transmitter 1. A plain text is inputted into the first encryption circuit 12. The first encryption circuit 12 encrypts the inputted plain text into a digitally encrypted text based on a common key of AES (Advanced Encryption Standard) encryption. The encrypted text is transmitted to a receiver 3 side through a communication line 2. Common key information is inputted into the second encryption circuit 13. The second encryption circuit 13 encrypts the common key by k**2 (modulo n) operation based on public key information on RSA (Rivest-Shamir-Adleman) encryption.
