PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing an optical filter with an electrode in which a ground electrode part is easily formed. PSOLUTION: The method of manufacturing an optical filter for display having an electrically conductive layer functioning as an electrode part projected in the peripheral part includes a process in which an uncured layer of a rectangular substrate having a predetermined dimension and detachable surface over which an uncured hard coat layer or a near-infrared absorption layer is formed is press-contacted on the electrically conductive layer formed over the surface of a rectangular transparent film, which has a dimension larger than that of the uncured layer, of a laminated body, so that a strip-shaped area of the electrically conductive layer is left around the uncured layer, and a hardened layer is transferred onto the electrically conductive layer by removing the rectangular substrate after curing the uncured layer.
