PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic flux shunt controlling dynamo-electric machine which is excellent in energy efficiency, in a magnet-excited dynamo-electric machine, and to provide a field control method. PSOLUTION: It is structured to change the field magnetic flux of a main magnetic path by shunting the magnetic flux from a field magnet 1a into a main magnetic path 1b, which passes the side of an armature, and a bypass magnetic path, which does not pass the armature, according to the relative bias, by constituting it to be capable of relative bias, dividing the exciting magnetic pole section of the field magnet 1a, which supplies field magnetic flux en bloc to between a magnetic substance salient pole 17 and a magnetic substance tooth 14, into two layers. A dynamo-electric machine system, which does not generate magnetic force that can prevent the relative bias, is materialized by constituting the magnetic resistance of the main magnetic path and that of the bypass magnetic path to be roughly the same.
