PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable correct image reading by reducing the influence of conductive foreign matters adhering to the light receiving surface of a photoelectric conversion apparatus.;SOLUTION: The photoelectric conversion apparatus is provided with a plurality of photoelectric conversion blocks each consisting of a photoelectric conversion device, a photoelectric conversion device reset means for supplying an initializing potential to the photoelectric conversion device to bring it into a reset state, and a transfer means for transferring a voltage of the photoelectric conversion device. The photoelectric conversion device reset means brings the photoelectric conversion device into a reset state, every time the voltage of the photoelectric conversion device is transferred in a reading period and during a standby period.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
