PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sampling device and a sampling method, effectively cooling a bit to prevent corrosion of a sample regardless of geologic difference like hard rock, soft rock and sandy soil.;SOLUTION: In this sampling device, an inner tube 4 is fitted to the inside of an outer tube 3 provided with a bit 2 at the lower end through a water channel W1.
