PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the linear motion device and the automation system which can exchange the seal members efficiently.;SOLUTION: The linear motion device 1 has an inward member 2 which has a rolling groove 4 of a rolling body on an external surface, an outward member 3 which has a rolling groove of the rolling body opposed to the rolling groove 4 of the rolling body of the inward member 2 on an inner surface, a plurality of rolling bodies which is rotatably arranged between both of the rolling grooves of the rolling bodies, a seal member 5 which is arranged at the edge of the outward member 3 and has a slide-contacting part 13 slide-contacting with an outer circumference surface of the inward member 2 and a spare seal member 6 which is fitted over to the inward member 2 and arranged away from the outward member 3.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
