PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve efficiency in the conversion of depression force to rotary force for achieving smooth drive by reducing the load of depression to a pedal in the drive of bicycles.;SOLUTION: A middle plate 1 that can be subjected to eccentricity rotation is linked to and arranged at a sprocket toothed wheel 6 being subjected to eccentricity arrangement to a crank shaft 13 by differing input side rotation moment by a crank arm 15 and output side rotation moment by the sprocket toothed wheel 6. The crank shaft 13 is rotatably inserted into a bearing hole 2C located at the eccentricity position of a support fixing disc 2 being fixed to a frame 11 for interlocking to the rotation center of a crank arm rotor plate 3 that is arranged opposite to the support fixing disc 2. One side of the middle plate 1 is rotatably connected to one side of the sprocket toothed gear 6 in a donut shape being rotatably supported by the support fixing disc 2. The other surface of the middle plate 1 is rotatably connected to the crank arm disc 3. A guide length groove hole 1A fitted to the crank shaft 13 so that the middle plate 1 is subjected to eccentricity rotation to the crank shaft 13 is provided at the middle plate 1.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
