Mixing faucet using the cylinder valve and the cylinder valve

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylinder valve capable of connecting an operation part with a valve element easily and preventing the operation part and the valve element from coming off from each other easily even if it receives impact of a water hammer.;SOLUTION: This cylinder valve is constituted in such a way that the valve element having an opening on a side face is provided in a valve guide having an opening on a side face, the operation part connected with the valve element is rotated to rotate the valve element, and the opening of the valve element and the opening of the valve guide are overlapped or shifted from each other to let water pass and shut off water. The valve guide is provided with an insertion hole in which the operation part and the valve element are inserted and a through hole through which a knob of the operation part inserted through the insertion hole passes in a lower face part and an upper face part, respectively. A projecting part for holding the valve element is formed at outer periphery of a basic part of the operation part and is fitted and locked in a holding hole formed in one side end part of the valve element. The operation part and the valve element are inserted through the insertion hole of the valve guide and are mounted in the valve guide.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
