PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new suitable method for producing packaged green tea beverage for sales by warming.;SOLUTION: This method for producing the packaged green tea beverage comprises a process of adding silica to tea extracted solution obtained by extracting green tea leaves to stick sediment components in the tea extracted solution to the silica, and a process of removing the silica from the product. It is possible to selectively stick and decrease protein and polysaccharide as a cause of secondary sediment and to prevent occurrence of sediment in sales by warming by adding and bringing into contact the silica to/with the tea extracted solution. Furthermore, a lot of flavor component and a lot of catechin can be remained in the beverage and the growth of heat-resisting germs can be suppressed by antibacterial action of catechin, and selectively a fatty acid oxidative decomposition product can be decreased as a cause of deterioration smell, while a lot of roast flavor component such as pyrazine is remained.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
