PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a synchronization burst generating method and its system in orthogonal frequency division multiplex transmission system. ;SOLUTION: An IFFT mapping device 2 maps a symbol of a prescribed symbol series denoting a subcarrier of an OFDM system with a non-null amplitude into a subcarrier of the OFDM system on the basis of processing mapping rule. An IFFT device 3 applies inverse high speed Fourier transform to the subcarrier of the mapped OFDM system having a symbol of the prescribed symbol string to generate a synchronization burst.
