PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for estimating the replacing timing of a doctor blade.;SOLUTION: The system for estimating the replacing timing of the doctor blade is equipped with a coefficient-of-abrasion calculation means for calculating the coefficient of abrasion at least on the basis of abrasion related data including the dot percent of the pattern in a plate cylinder, a doctor abrasion quantity calculation means for calculating the doctor abrasion quantity on the basis of the coefficient of abrasion and production quantity and a replacing period estimation means comparing the doctor abrasion quantity and predetermined abrasion allowable quantity to estimate the replacing timing of the doctor blade.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
