PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic wave absorber which is easily manufactured, has an effective electromagnetic wave absorbing characteristic, does not generate separated gas at all, and allowed to be used for high frequency circuit package parts. PSOLUTION: The electromagnetic wave absorber consists of a sintered component containing FeSB2/SBOSB3/SBof ≥ 20mo1% and AlSB2/SBOSB3/SBof ≤ 80mol% and has ≥ 2dB attenuation quantity of electromagnetic waves in ≥ 10GHz frequency.
