Provided is a pharmaceutical composition with synergistic anti-tumor activities, comprising baicalein and a compound of formula I, characterized in that the molar ratio of baicalein and the compound of formula I is between 1:1 and 1:4,; ;wherein R₁ represents a glucuronic acid group, and R₂ represents a hydrogen or hydroxyl group. Also disclosed is the use of the composition as well as a method of its preparation.
