CATALYTIC DOMAIN PROTEIN OF SIALIDASE, NUCLEIC ACID MOLECULA, FUSION PROTEIN, EXPRESSION VECTOR, PHARMACEUTICAL FORMULATION, METHOD OF TREATMENT OR PREVENTION OF VIRAL INFRENOUS OR VENTAL INFRENTION FOR PREVENTION A BACTERIAL PATHHOGEN, METHOD OF TREATMENT OR PREVENTION OF ALLERGY OR INFLAMMATION, METHOD OF INTENSIFYING GENE APPLICATION BY A RECOMBINING VECTOR, METHOD OF TREATMENT OR PREVENTION FOR PRESENTING INFECTION AND INFECTION PREVENTION of pathogen infection. Particularly, the present invention provides compounds that have an anchor domain that anchors the compound to the surface of a target cell, and a therapeutic domain that can act extracellularly to prevent infection of a target cell by a pathogen, such as a virus. The present invention also further comprises therapeutic compositions having sialidase activity, including protein-based compounds having sialidase catalytic domains. The compounds of the invention may be used in the treatment or prevention of pathogen infection, and for the treatment and reduction of allergic and inflammatory responses. The invention also provides compositions and methods for enhancing transduction of target cells by recombinant viruses. Such compositions and methods may be used in gene therapy.
