A technique for the closure of the soft tissue defects in the long fingers of the hand in destruction of the donor fingers comprises tailoring the cutaneous-fascial flap in the lateral surface of the middle phalange of the adjacent donor finger followed by its mobilization and transposition to the recipient area. The cutaneous-fascial flap in the back surface of the proximal phalange of the stump of the donor finger is separated and mobilized in the proper digital artery, the arterial arcade, the median-dorsal branch of the opposite proper digital artery. The transposition in the subcutaneous tunnel to the recipient area is performed. The flap is fixed with the interrupted sutures, and the aseptic dressing is applied.
