The method involves recording drivability relevant physical data during the driving of the vehicle. The data is examined on the existence of trigger condition that displays the existence of certain driving conditions. An overall estimation is computed for the detected driving condition. A correction value is calculated for the repeated occurrence of the same driving condition for the evaluation. The correction value depends on the differences in the behavior of the vehicle at the same driving condition. A revised evaluation is calculated which is included in the correction size. An independent claim is included for a device for evaluating the drivability of a vehicle.
