The device has a left elliptical type optical module with a light source e.g. LED producing two left cutoff light beams that are different. A right elliptical type optical module has a light source for producing a non cutoff light beam (Fd2) and a right cutoff light beam. The optical modules are arranged at front of the vehicle and both sides of the longitudinal median axis of the vehicle. The device produces the set of different global light beams by superpositioning of the light beams that is produced by the two optical modules.
