A method for manufacturing a display substrate for an LCD panel is provided to simplify the manufacturing process, increase the process speed, and improve the flatness of an inorganic layer by forming the organic layer on a substrate through lamination. A dry film resist is laminated on an insulating substrate(210), wherein the dry film resist includes a base member and an organic film(222) formed on the base member. The base member is removed from the organic film laminated on the insulating substrate. The organic film is pattern-etched to form an opening(OA) for exposing the insulating substrate. An organic material(240) for a light shielding pattern fills the opening of the organic film by using an ink-jet print apparatus(520).
