A siloxane-based coating composition, a method for preparing the coating composition, and an optical lens coated with the composition are provided to improve abrasion resistance, transparency and dyeing property. A siloxane-based coating composition comprises 0.1-50 parts by weight of a compound represented by R1_a Si(OR2)_(4-a), its hydrolyzate or its partial condensate; 10-60 parts by weight of a compound represented by R3_b Si(OR4)_(4-b), its hydrolyzate or its partial condensate; 0.01-10 parts by weight of an aluminum composite; 1.0-100 parts by weight of an inorganic oxide having a refractive index of 1.7-3.0; 30 parts by weight or less of a common solvent; and 10-100 parts by weight of a solvent, wherein R1 and R2 are independently a C1-C6 alkyl group, a C2-C6 alkenyl group, a C1-C6 halogenated alkyl group, a C2-C6 allyl group or a C3-C6 aromatic hydrocarbon group; a is an integer of 0-3; R4 is a C1-C6 alkyl group; and b is an integer of 0-3.
