SLIDE WITH MEANS KEEPING A BALL-RETAINER FROM DERAILING

A slide having a unit for preventing a ball-retainer from derailing is provided to prevent separation of a ball retainer even if a slide is given load in a complicated shape. In a slide having a unit for preventing a ball-retainer from derailing, separation preventing units of a ball retainer(5) are formed at the ends of flanges(2') on both sides of a fixing member(2). The separation preventing unit of a ball retainer has a section which has the shape of L shaped protrusion portion(20). The protrusion portion has a vertical extension portion(21) and a horizontal extension portion(22). It is desirable that the distance between the horizontal extension portion and the ball retainer is less than 1mm.
